With Christmas a few weeks away, the rush to get gifts for family and friends becomes more exciting and we would show you tips on how to make the process seamless for you now more than ever.
Here are a few tips to follow:
1. Have a budget:
Having a budget for each gift purchase will help you know what’s a right fit and what’s not. Now is not the time to not prioritize your budget plan because a single mismanagement of your budget can derail your entire Christmas gift plan so make sure to create a budget list per head and stick to it as much as you can so you can pick gifts for everyone special to you without leaving anyone out.
2. Have a list for everyone:
List out everyone you’d be gifting for the holiday, whether parents, friends or lover, put everyone on a list and write the budget you created for everyone in front of their name, that way, you’re able to know what your plan is at a glance without having to scramble when it’s time to gift hunt.
3. Prioritize:
Purchase gifts for these people in order of priority. Know the people who are most important that MUST get a gift no matter what and know the ones that SHOULD get a gift, then the ones that CAN get a gift. Prioritizing your list this way helps you spend wisely and accordingly. For instance, for the MUST priority people, get their gifts early enough so you don’t leave them out since they are top priority and the SHOULD priority comes next and so on and so forth.
4. Check for discounts and sales:
Watch your favorite stores closely and follow news and announcements from them so you can take advantage of their sales, discounts and Black Friday offerings to save more and get more! 5. Buy ahead:
Buy ahead of the rush, it’s best to buy your gifts as early as you can and then just follow up on your order till it’s delivered than to wait till the main rush starts. Buying ahead helps you avoid the headache and heartache that comes with holiday rush, you just sit back and await your deliveries with your leg crossed and your favorite wine lol.
